A step forward in our sustainability roadmap: transparency, continuous improvement, and commitment to stakeholders
Bergomi S.p.A. has obtained the ESG Rating S3, issued on July 1, 2025, following the assessment carried out through the Tigran platform by Modefinance — a Fintech rating agency registered with ESMA — in collaboration with Banca Valsabbina.
According to the Modefinance methodology, the ESG score measures a company’s exposure to Environmental, Social, and Governance risks, weighted by sector and country, and expressed on a S1–S7 scale:
S1 indicates a dynamic and advanced approach to sustainability, while S7 represents a fragile position.
Within this framework, S3 identifies an organization with proactive management, already implementing policies and procedures to mitigate residual ESG risks.
What the ESG Rating measures and how Bergomi was evaluated
The assessment analyzes the three ESG pillars — E (Environmental), S (Social), and G (Governance) — providing an individual score for each pillar and an overall rating.
For Bergomi S.p.A., the summary is as follows:
• E – Environmental
• S – Social
• G – Governance
In the Environmental area, the report highlights strengths such as emission reduction plans, environmental initiatives, waste recovery and reduction processes, periodic consumption monitoring, renewable energy systems, and energy efficiency projects already implemented or planned.
Bergomi S.p.A. also holds the UNI EN ISO 14001 certification.
On the Social front, the report recognizes key elements such as the absence of product controversies, transparent process communication, community engagement, welfare policies, gender equality and D&I, training, incentive systems linked to environmental and social results, work-life balance, and health and safety management.
In terms of Governance, the assessment highlights the presence of a dedicated sustainability function, an ESG strategy, a Code of Ethics, a legality rating, and information security systems among the company’s main strengths.
Why this result matters
The ESG Rating is not merely a label — it is a structured and comparable assessment of environmental, social, and governance performance, designed to provide stakeholders, customers, banks, and investors with a transparent and reliable overview.
Communicating this rating is an act of transparency and accountability, helping to objectively identify improvement areas and enhance the initiatives already underway.
In the case of Bergomi S.p.A., the S3 rating confirms a solid and evolving path, supported by active plans, processes, and certifications, while outlining a clear roadmap for continuous improvement.
