Customer objective
The goal was to develop a large-scale, high-precision cutting machine, built using materials with challenging mechanical properties and difficult weldability.
The customer sought a partner capable of ensuring structural strength, dimensional accuracy, and long-term reliability — essential features for machinery operating in continuous production lines.
Execution
The project involved the use of special-grade steels, requiring specific casting and welding techniques, managed in-house with strict process and tolerance control.
Due to the size and overall weight of the machine, all handling and lifting operations were carried out using high-capacity overhead cranes and a dedicated handling plan, tasks that only a few companies in Italy are equipped to perform safely and efficiently.
Result
The result is a large, complex, and highly precise cutting machine, fully compliant with the client’s specifications and built to ensure long-term durability and performance.
